So there was some quarrel between Bryan and the hostel management over the state of the toilet. Allegedly he was rude to the manager/owner and it resulted in another guest getting involved and threatening to clean Bryan’s clock. See the videos below.
I certainly wasn’t there and I can’t pretend to know what REALLY happened, nor can I condone violence (or threats thereof) but Bryan has a documented history of poor social behavior and outright lying that I will generally disbelieve anything he says.
Here’s an incident from several years ago in Costa Rica (see link and the response from the hotel owner). He has similar complaints about the state of the toilet but it turns out he was the one who got the toilet into that sorry state to begin with!
Bryan further complains that the Internet always stops working. Turns out Bryan was consuming pornographic material around little children which forced the management to turn off the WiFi. Bryan left that detail out in his review.
Although Bryan has never admitted to this specific incident, he has repeatedly accused the CIA of forcing him to touch his sexual organs and have orgasms so it is likely that the owner’s response is accurate.
Basically Bryan has no self-awareness regarding his own behaviors and insists that everyone else is the problem. The fact that he gets called out on his bad behavior and thrown out often to him is “proof” of a conspiracy against him, in his severely warped psyche.
In the “meltdown” video, he talks about how nothing is his fault and his difficulty in getting an outbound airline ticket.

Consider how much hostility, impatience, unwillingness to listen to people, and generalized nervous tweeking, that he wasn’t escorted out of the airport by security in the very least. He behavior is suspicious, especially to someone unfamiliar with his “quirks.”
Leaving by bus or train could be a disaster. It will be crowded, likely he’ll have to stand, he’ll be juggling his luggage, and the number of English-speaking people will be small. He will, of course, say everyone around him is a perp, a peasant, puppet, ignorant, and a lot of other derogatory things, he’ll be “in the face” with his camera, every bump in the road means someone will touch him…. If he’s lucky, he’ll get thrown off, if not, beat down hard.

Watching this saga unfold is rather like reading “A Confederacy of Dunces.” About a big, ungainly, whining, lazy, priggish and slovenly antisocial southern boy who spends his life bragging about his education whilst doing zero with it or his life, everything and everyone involved in a conspiracy against his warped worldview. Tew is just another Ignatius J. Reilly with the advantage of technological toys rather than simply scribbling his nonsense into a Big Chief tablet notebook.
Bryan has tried and failed several times to leave Cambodia. He said there was problems at the airport (not entirely clear what problems exactly) and they were not letting him book or board. He then took a bus over to Thailand and was denied entry into Thailand and left at the border in Cambodia.
I know at least one of his air tickets was to Thailand so I am suspecting that Thailand may be barring his entry. Or it may just be a case of incompetence on his part (failing to have the right documents, etc.)
Now he says he is applying for asylum in Cambodia while following the usual pattern of demeaning and trash-talking Cambodian people.
I suppose he’ll be getting a “human rights attorney” and wasting some more money on a fruitless endeavor.

He keeps referencing listening to ‘Christian content’ music etc that’s deliberately distorted. Hey, Bryan! Do you ever listen to anything else? I bet everything you listen to has a bit of distortion due your tinnitus. So be honest and claim that everything you hear is distorted.
Otherwise, if it’s just the Christian stuff, then you can probably blame that and your fantasies about homosexuality and pedophilia on being possesed by a demon – since you’re so perfect that your fantasies and choices and violent behavior aren’t your responsibility.
But it’s not the U.S. government. The U.S. is less responsible for your fantasies and rotten antisocial mental behavior than the devil himself. Looks like he visited the Jesuit Refugee people,too. And noticed they mocked him. How many videos of him grimacing do you have to watch before you know he is nuckin’ futs? When you are in a third world country, with REAL refugees, it takes someone completely self unaware to think his plight of being inconvenienced is anything like what these people see. This warning from the Cambodia’s tourism page that does not bode well for Bryan. “We urge all travelers to be aware of their surroundings at all time and to be extra vigilant when displaying items like jewelry, bags and cell phones in public.” He buys only top of the line equipment when he can, is constantly holding his cell phone to point out the many stalkers, and is about as unaware of his enviroment and his place in society as you can get. His general rude, demeaning, and condescending attitudes about locals (How long before they are classed as peasants?) will get him noticed, not in a good way. This will be interesting.

I think it is hilarious that he does seem to think laws about trespassing applies to him. He is a guest, they gave him his money back, if he doesn’t leave absolutely call the police. He’s crazy enough to have a meltdown. Just more government inconveniencing his life, totally does not boil down to his being rude and stupid, right? Lol, I just saw his review on TripAdvisor. He’s completely rude and unreasonable in his expectations. This isn’t his first time at a hostel, hostels target a specific audience and he’s butthurt that he’s not getting 5 star accommodations for the prices he is paying.
He used the same account to leave the bad review about the Mad Monkey as he did that one hotel a few years back where he complained about the Internet access being turned off and the hotel owner let everyone know about his public masturbation.
I hope the owner saw it and had a laugh.

He is clueless. Cambodia does not have a 911 . One place said that it is 119, but another gave an entire 10 digit number. This place also said to bribe everyone or expect no service from anyone.
He is clueless and hopelessly stupid about social cues. And not much makes you look more crazy than accusing someone sitting and reading is yelling and swearing at you.

It looks like he is getting kicked out of multiple apartments. His Cambodia trip is turning into one of the biggest failures yet. Seems like there are a lot of people who understand English enough to where he is actually looking crazy – instead of just confusing, like always. I’m due for more US travels. He’s in Hong Kong now, although his last video in Cambodia said he was trying to get a Laos visa so I’m not sure what happened there. Obviously his asylum gambit was entirely fruitless.

Towards the end, 13:40, he talks about how he was banned from Cuba. He got deported twice after applying for asylum two times but doesn’t understand why he’s on a black list of people no longer allowed to visit. He claims he’s morally pure and has no reason to be banned.
Says he doesn’t abuse drugs (lie #1. he consumes copious amounts of opioids, benzos, and sleeping pills way beyond the prescribed does, and has admitted to lying to obtain said drugs), doesn’t drink (lie #2, he previously admits to getting drunk and having things stolen off of him while drunk!), and doesn’t chase “bad women” (lie #3, he was arrested in Ecuador after throwing a temper tantrum when a prostitute he invited to his room stole his cell phone).

The first thing he did in Cuba was visit hotels to download and send lots of videos. And couldn’t. I would Cuba does not have a uniformly large bandwidth that works 100% of the time, especially when his mailing list is 100+ people. And I also would believe there is still some gov control on what you can do on the internet. So, here comes a US citizen, whose first action is to visit hotels, not to stay, but to use the internet, mass sending videos and documents peppered with “FBI, “CIA”, etc. Probably set off a few bells and whistles.
I don’t know how long it will last, but sleeping on the floor of an airport, without a ticket to leave is probably not going to be tolerated long. Prepare for more,”deadly,deadly game, nothing more” videos of the foreign nationals being peasant puppets, blah,blah,blah… as he gets kicked out.
Where to next? On a temp passport, he might not be welcomed anywhere. Especially when the agents see his near past travels have been to areas tourists like to buy and or use drugs. And he talks crazy, is nervous, and just tweeky. Will be interesting.
