Bryan Tew’s YouTube account suspended & toe-stepping incident

Brief recap of some events that happened: Bryan Tew carelessly stepped on some guy’s toes (literally) which caused the guy to get upset and allegedly threaten Bryan. Bryan immediately started filming the interaction and yelling for police to help him. As far as I know nobody got in trouble.

A day or so later (today) his videos of said interaction was flagged (it wasn’t me, I promise, I didn’t even have a chance to watch them!) and Bryan claims that he is now forbidden from posting new videos as a result.

Having gone through something similar with my blog, I completely understand how arbitrary Google’s censorship can be and how their system of appeal is essentially non-functional. That is the extent of my sympathy for Bryan.

  1. That video has “Tew about to get beat up again” written all over it. In other TI news, I just pieced together that a popular internet TI personality lives probably 2 miles from me at the most. Videos of driving around town looked super familar. Some quick checking and this person is someone I could see out and about. Which I don’t want to have happen. Fortunately I don’t have a gangstalker car color, and both of my headlights and running lamps are functional. I have all of my hubcaps and no stickers proving memberships or special license plate or any repeating characters in my plate number. These people are like the code enforcement. You need to be nondescript, in order, and look down and keep to yourself- otherwise you will be labeled a stalker, and be recorded and uploaded to YouTube.
